Welcome to a grand, oversexed adventure! In this series Sam and the gang are guild mates! New setting, new forms and the same gang of oversexed, fun loving friends. This is a slice of life, adult, comedy web comic featuring Sam as a gorgeous fennec fox.

A day in the life of Sam. He returns from a lengthy mission out of town. Accompanied by his friend and new character, Alan. A large western dragon. Alan heads off for a breather after all the flying about as Sam heads for the main hall of the guild. A new tale begins!

Yeah, not really feeling these new character designs. Was never particularly big into ferals. Pokemon, just seemed different somehow. Meh. I wish the author well, but I don't think this is for me anymore.

This... just feels like a massive 'hey you pay me money and I'll put your character in my comic' thing... the three out of four panels in a single page all have random characters that are placed to be 'obvious' to someone who paid to have them there... Plus, none of this looks like 'pokemon'... just woodland creatures and a dragon... Definitely would not label this as a 'pokemon comic' if i were the author...

++HikariNoKitsune they don't look like Pokemons because they aren't. Pokémon Company is a bitch and sent a DMCA to Kuroodod about the previous Oversexed Eeevelutions comic, so he was forced to remove all Pokemon references on it

Really such a shame that Nintendo did this to Kuroodod. I love this series and hope that he can keep it great.

(For anyone unaware, Nintendo threatened legal action against the artist if he continued to monetize this comic. Therefore, he must redesign the characters.)

Turns out when you use the recognizable characters/creatures of a company well-known for using legal action to protect what they have, most notably using them and deliberately are being paid for them, that company who regularly uses legal action threatens legal action.

@ HikariNoKitsune: I don't think he is labeling it a pokemon comic. That's what got him in trouble in the first place. And yeah, I think getting sniped out of his planned storyline right in the middle of things makes it necessary for him to try to find his footing again. Padding the opening, which he hadn't really had planned to even need one in the first place, was probably a bit of a rush. Give it at least 10 pages, to be fair.

@JunkAlot: So the Eevee ferals are ok, but nothing else? It seems really odd that you would say you were never really big into ferals, when the entire pokemon comic was ferals...

I'm seeing a lot of people being really down on this for not being what it was, despite kuro making the effort to continue with some sort of story rather than just dropping the whole thing. It feels really disloyal in a way ('Welp, he stopped drawing that thing he's not allowed to draw. Followed him for all that time, but... gonna cut him loose now.) Maybe give him a little time to catch his balance after the sudden cutting off of the story he had going. These sudden judgements are pretty harsh to see.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't like ferals, there have been a handful of comics that involved ferals that I liked, this being one of them.

Kind of hard to explain, but I just don't like animal bodies by themselves. They're just not attractive to me. Don't know why I liked the Eevee bodies (or other pokemon forms), but I do. So, yeah.

I'll give this comic a chance, say 15ish pages. But so far, meh.

Like I said, it's not bad. Just doesn't seem to be my taste anymore.

Honestly, kuro probably should have just dropped it. Maybe done a remake with these new characters or just a whole new story. It definitely feels weird having them just, change bodies like this. Like having the TMNT becomeing hamsters randomly, and acting like nothing really changed.

@JunkAlot: Well there's some good news then.

This apparently is meant to be a kind of soft reboot. That character Sam isn't meant to be 'Sam transformed from Eevee into something else', it's another Sam... maybe he should have used another name?

Also, Kuro apparently said that from time to time, he's going to continue with the Eeveelutions comic; he just won't be able to monetize it. So, even if this one doesn't work for you as well, there will still be more pages of the comic you enjoy.

I'm not going to be mad at Nintendo for caring about their copyright. That's just stupid. I'm more annoyed at Kuroodod. He just HAD to try to profit off his Eevee comic, and only when he's forced to that he tries to make something of his own out of it instead of from the start. Everyone knows what Nintendo would do And it's even dumber to be mad at them when your favorite clearly should have known better than to play with the sharks. It was only a matter of time before he got what was coming to him.

Let's just be happy that he is not quitting.

Kuroodod has talent; doesn't mean it's being put to good use here. Yea, it sucks that the pokemon comic got shut down. No, this version is not going to be as popular. Yes, they're are going to be a lot of 'fans' who move away from this because it's no longer pokemon themed.

That said, this just isn't good. Dialogue and story were never really Kuroodod's strong suit. Being realistic, it was the art style and characters being used. Finding good art of pokemon porn is rare, more so when they still look like the actual pokemon, just with genitals.

That's not to say I'm going to turn on the artist; As I said, Kuroodod has talent. Just needs to learn how to put it to good use. My suggestion? Be more careful with what creatures are being used in the story.
Despite how much that dragon looks like a dragonite, it's not, and still looks damn good. Hands down, sexiest character in this so far. Best part? Nintendo can't claim copyright violation on all depictions of dragons. Even if it looks a lot like their dragon, it's technically not, and they don't own the rights to 'dragons.'
Eevee and its evolutions? Yea, that's a Nintendo thing. No getting around that. That's just a bullet that needs bit.

If by some chance Kuroodod reads this; I recommend taking some time to come up with new character designs. Don't go with traditional animals, that kind of thing steers too close to outright bestiality for a lot of people. Instead, try things you see a lot of in other works; Dragons, gryphons, pastel-colored ponies (if you want to sacrifice all dignity for pure profit). Make a gallery of every idea for a character you can possibly think of, and see what people respond to most positively. From there, assign personalities as befits whatever story you want to tell.

So, as believable as it is that Nintendo would go around throwing DMCAs left and right, apparently, those were FAKE claims. If I recall, Diives, Mike Inel, and this artist got hit by this troll. Because like with Youtube, apparently anybody can just masquerade as the owner of content, and the person being attacked is forced to blindly accept it.

Also, no offense to Kuroodod, but it almost feels like the energy that was behind the original Oversexed Eeveelutions has not really shown up here. I still love the comic, but I'm missing some of the energy and fun I felt from the first one... I hope that this hits its own groove soon. Not that I'll stop reading if it doesn't.

@CompleteWeirdo Well there are the few who have gone and contacted Nintendo's legal team about this asking if they sent those DMCAs and getting a response that they have no records of Twitter in their system. Which leads us to believe that if they did send them there'd be a record of it and if they have no idea this was happening, it stands to reason we have an impostor if not a group pulling this crap. And if they are then they could be in serious trouble cause Impersonation of a multibillion dollar company like Nintendo, that's got to be Federal law illegal right?
