Why though? You obviously have skill as an artist and understand character design fairly well. Why not just make your own memorable character? I'd argue you'd have better sucuess with that rather than falling into the signal to noise ratio of "I made a variation of beloved Nintendo character number 10567433"

I can agree with that sentiment, but it's also hard to get noticed if you're strictly pumping out original content. As long as the artist is respectful to the source material they're aping off of, I'm fine with it. Some of these though, obviously less respectful than others.

The reason I turned Samus Aran into a furry vixen is because.. I wanted to. I like the protagonist Samus in the Metroid games, and I love anthro foxes. So I morphed my two favorite things together and created an anthrofied version of herself for fun/pleasure etc. This is purely for the enjoyment of the fantasy.

I'm not sure why you are saying the artists are being disrespectful. Each artist created their pictures off my recommendations and were nothing but respectful towards me while they were creating them. Each artist put careful work into creating each one so please be respectful toward their efforts even if you disagree with what they produced.
