I tried translating a manga by Fushoku.

About the title: I hate sounding like I'm making excuses for my translations, but I thought it required an explanation, so here goes.
The title includes the word 知己, meaning an "acquaintance" or a "close, supportive friend", and the characters 抱, "to embrace/hug" (alt. "to have sex"), and 憂, which is related to all things melancholic. However, due to the pronunciation of the last two characters, the title sounds phonetically identical to the word 知己朋友, "intimate friends".

Now, Fushoku's titles, as far as I know, always consist of four characters, which must be deliberate on Fushoku's part rather than a coincidence. Therefore, I would argue that the English translation should be similarly succinct: two words, if possible (though, depending on your definition of a single "word", this would make my previous Fushoku title unsatisfactory).
That's why I went with "Intimate Support" to include both the physical intimacy of hugs/sex and the psychological intimacy of friendship, and "support" covers both the "supportive friend" bit and the emotional support provided for someone feeling down.

Was typing this out even worth the effort? Probably not. Oh, and it's my birthday again.

Regarding the title, I'm inclined to interpret the 抱憂 part as 憂いを抱く(feel, harbor), rather than the...physical meaning of 抱く. So it's referring to how she (his 知己) was feeling melancholic. That's my take at least, you never really know for sure with these word-play titles.
