To assume that making unappealing pornography is an appropriate way of 'innovating' is misguided. If the innovation makes the porn worse at its job then you've made a mistake.

Unlike normal art, pornography is set to the concrete task of sexually exciting its audience. You can't 'innovate' outside of what accomplishes that goal. If you don't understand this then you are profoundly short-sighted and doomed to fail at making porn.

Furthermore, not everybody has such low self esteem that they see a hideous shamble creature and think "Yeah, they're ugly, but I'd still fuck them", most people just think, "They're ugly" then have their boner killed and can't stomach watching your avant garde monstrosity heave its wrinkled sickly mass all over the place.

Making ugly porn isn't simply bad art, its more than that. It's incorrect art. You may as well have made a knife that won't cut; what an 'innovator' you are.

If you want to surprise an audience with something new, go make normal degenerate art. But what you have done here is the equivalent of trying to sell to femdom fetishists a work in which the man takes charge.

I'm a little late to the party but lmao Torcoolguy I'm losing my mind at the phrase 'incorrect art'. Pretty much everything you said is arbitrary nonsense tailored to your tastes.

And that bullshit about porn serving the soul purpose of sexually exciting it's audience? Straight up untrue. The actual definition of porn is to display sexual acts- specifically in an erotic manner. Whether the artist uses their abilities to the end of exciting, scaring, or straight up disgusting the viewer is entirely up to them.

Normally I wouldn't give a shit because- and I know this might be shocking- people have their own tastes and I can respect that. One hate comment about art I didn't make doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm not the least bit upset you don't find ballsack grandma goblins arousing. Most people wouldn't.

What upset me enough to bother writing this out is that you put an artist down with some psuedo-artistic rant which is, for all intents and purposes, completely devoid of any actual substance as a critique.
