This is such a good book. I'd highly reccommend it to anyone looking to start good habits in drawing. It's not a tutorial, it's a class, so it requires time and dedication. But it's so worth it!
This book is great but is a very tedious book for beginners who are not used to sitting hours doing focused practice, I have went through probably 10 schedules a couple of years ago and saw my skills improving rapidly (as a beginner) and my drawing eye and imagination getting better and I can guarantee anyone who put the effort to get better with daily 3 hours of practice with this book will improve very fast..
But for how much it's tedious (as in requiring so many hours of focused practice) I think the book moved too fast to weird exercises and asked for hard to get drawing tools and moved to coloring when I wished for more of the first 7 schedules exercises (for example gesture/Contour/Memory and their variations)..
