I have a basic grasp but generally rely on alternate translations (like chinese) or help from google. As a result, while these translations are technically accurate, they are by nature rewrites due to the process of editing. Additionally I do add or change some dialog for personal taste, and I occasionally move around dialog if I feel it makes the storyline more sensible. Some of these are much older that I am just now uploading, so there may be some clunky and wordy writing. I make these for myself, and I only share them in hope that someone else might find it nice to read, otherwise I'm not really interested in much else.

@sonictmp Then feel free to pay someone to translate it and come back and show me how wrong my dialog is. The story, the setting, the characters are all the same, I've edited details for my own taste and I maybe completely changed one entire dialog box to flow better. I really don't understand this criticism of "machine translation" for my posts since I feel that I expend and appropriate amount of effort in the editing process to make the dialog flow and cut any grammatical errors. I simply state my abilities for transparency, but frankly nobody seems to even bother reading what I write anyways before spouting their own opinions.

To be honest, I don't see why this uploader is getting so much shit for his upload. He already disclosed that he made personal edits. If you don't like it, don't read it. Downvote the gallery if you like - or just block the uploader if you don't like his stuff.

From how I see it, machine translations are better than nothing at all, especially if you don't understand another language. Someone took the time to edit it and paste it. It's not like he's charging money for it.

Some people on this site are such spoiled primadonnas. Sonictmp just comes across as one ungrateful person.
