Ys had a kicking soundtrack.
I preferred 1's slightly though. Yuzo Koshiro's so great. I once again wish we'd had the late PC-8801's soundchip in some american computer that had a Ys port (and also that the Sega Master System had FM audio here) so we could have heard one of those versions back then.

The IIgs version sounds okay, I guess, but I never have had one of those.

This got me playing the PC-8801 version again in an emulator.
