From a German anime website that I used to frequent (it's called 'animexx'). This is from around 2006.

I think the artist recently took down their art, so I want to publish it here to immortalize it, because it surely deserves to be shared.

The female character that looks like Ryou is his deceased sister, Amane.

I believe that the 7th picture is from 'Elfenlied', but please correct me if I'm wrong.
