I STILL have this book somewhere. this is arguably my favorite game ever, right next to Super Metroid. The internet is nice....but I sometimes wish we could go back to not having it. I honestly feel things were better then, less complicated. sitting with your friends taking turns playing. Also, I agree with the proper sequel! it's an old license but there's a bunch of life left in it, not to mention final fantasy online just recently did a crossover with it. it was FANTASTIC.

Well, there's some kinda continuation/closure for this game...In the shape of FFXIV's "Return to Ivalice" quests storyline. In short - you can say that the Durai (from Orran Durai) bloodline is still alive and well.

@ alphagear Things were a lot simpler because information was not so spread out as it was today. You have to know people, read books and find things out yourself but nowadays there are youtube tutorials, people are technologically assisted and you can net surf and find out random shit.

These nostaglia games brings me back to a time when things were left more dependently on your imagination so games like these were mindblowingly fascinating because it's fantasy brought to life of a PS1 game.

The soundtrack was equally amazing, especially when coupled with the revolving camera. Each battle felt so important, and this was on top of it being really fun.
