This was one of my first introductions to anime drawn by a Western audience, primarily by that of Zahara Medina herself. She was a popular anime illustrator and fan artist back from 1996 - 2005, though she mysteriously stopped producing 2D works (which seems to have ended in 2007 all together). I wanted to archive these illustrations and share them with the world as they are very unique and all around superb. Not much of anime history on the web from this era is very accessible, especially from fan artists.
This site was hosted by several German Otaku apparently.
Elements from all websites are also archived for posterity. Some works were not accessible as the files were untraceable. The site was officially deleted in 2014 as the web domain was sold.

From the image at https://e-hentai.org/s/2a0d6f888b/1733869-29 (and others), she seemed to be involved with some group named Anime Shikanai which had its 5th anniversary in 1999. Maybe their ex-members have an idea of where she went to. I can't say anymore since I don't want to be called a stalke since some people simply retire from active anime fandom to have others continue the fandom. Nothing wrong with resting on laurels at that point since these people have paid forward into fandom.
Thanks for the update. She seems to simply have stopped creating this type of work in 2014 around the time when the webhost was sold. Many members of that site I was familiar with back in the day, though of course things just turn up cold. Thanks for the link however!
