This is my first time coloring a full doujin rather than just some odd pages, it was a really fun experience, i have been working on and off for over a year, some life shit happened in-between but it feels nice to actually be done with this.

This was fairly challenging so i ended up learning a lot about coloring while doing this, now i am much better at doing this then when i started. Also remember me to never do Egyptian/Middle eastern servants again, bc FUCK those fancy ass clothes, those are a pain in the ass to do.

To end things, i wanna give a shoutout to the folks over the midnight channel(you know who you are) for being exicted for this even if this took ages.

I really appreciate the work and effort that was put into coloring this. But, I do wish the skin tones used were closer the cover. LigerHero got it backwards, I think. They should look a little tanned, not Dark

I dont really undarstand why people like fan-colorised mangas. Flat colors just flatten the whole art. The approach to art is a bit different when you work in color and when you work in black and white and proffesional artists like Hirame are aware of that. Look for example that the lineart is a bit thinner on the pages than on the colored cover. Plus you loose a lot of contrast - look how bright the highlights in cover and how you made them - in original work they are just pure white exactly for more contrast. With flat colors the art pops-out less, and good "3D" coloring/rendering of course hard and time consuming.

But its just my opinion as the person who draws a bit and try to learn from Hirame too. If you like it - no problemo. And still respects to a guy who made it. It still done good, dont get me wrong. Just I like the original work of the artist more.
