Here you see Adam putting in work! Do to the arduous nature of his task, his horse body, which he is still getting used to, decided to release some unwelcome bodily functions.

I imagine this takes place in the middle of the yet undeveloped canon. Due to the abilities of his newfound body, Adam was put to work at the behest of the townsfolk.
