Also, I figured I'd share some thoughts on the series as someone who ended up reading the whole thing several times while translating vol 2 & 3.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Overall, I'm gonna say a big thumbs-up. It's hard to end these kinds of stories properly, and for the most part, I'd say it succeeded. I totally get it why some people would dislike it, though. For me, the writing was on the wall since the end of vol. 2 that the MC will become a textbook cuck and the girl will end up a slut. Going into it with those expectations in mind, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Now, as for the characters...

Yoshino (baldie) - the only real 'happy ending' out of the whole bunch. He stayed blissfully oblivious to all the NTR drama happening behind the scenes, got to have a great time fucking his hot classmates, and ended up with the senpai he had a secret crush on since vol. 1. A complete arc, from a pervert bragging about his onahole to a confident guy who's well on his way to becoming a responsible adult, having also cleaned up his act re: baseball. Good job, baldie.

Niiyama (blond chick) - possibly got the worst ending simply because she was sidelined by everybody: the super-hunk tossed her aside, baldie got himself a real girlfriend instead, and MC couldn't even get it hard with her, being the NTR-addicted cuck that he is. Even her relationship with her bestie Iida becomes quite strained at the end. She's probably the one who ended up regretting the whole swapping thing the most, which is funny since she basically instigated it.

Iida - what can I say? The girl just loves cock. There was also no real malice behind her actions, since she didn't 'betray' anyone. The MC never told her about his feelings, and I guess she didn't want to hurt Niiyama by revealing that she continued fucking the hunk, so she just kept it to herself. Going along with the MC's wishes at the end was... just what a good friend does, I guess.

Kousei - he didn't choose the cuck life, the cuck life chose him. The obvious tell was in vol. 2 when he skipped out on cram school to spend the whole day fucking Iida. Pretty sure that's when he realized that he got more pleasure from imagining her getting NTR-d than actually fucking her himself. And this only got worse in vol. 3 when he started fantasizing about those fictional scenarios of Iida getting railed. Oh, well. As long as he's happy.
