edit v2: I found a proofreader some time ago and together we have been working on improving "Kanojo no Ides" during the last two weeks. I took the old translation, which I have to admit was way too literal, as a base. Starting from there, I edited the translation again with the aim for everything to make more sense and read smoothly. Some parts I re-translated from scratch e.g. when there were small mistakes. My proofreader also put in a lot of hours to make everything as error-free as possible. Because of the amount of changes I typesetted everything from scratch. I've upgraded my font usage recently, so that should also make it look a little bit better. That being said, the end is still pretty enigmatic but I added a lengthy afterword analysis to offer a possible interpretation. I'm pretty confident that this is a lot better compared to before BUT nothing is ever perfect so please cut us some slack. Thanks!

As an aside, I cannot fathom why non-Japanese ESLs who are not fluent in either language charge commissions, nor the individuals who pay for such commissions. For the former, is it to gain proficiency or money? Both? For the latter is it low standards? Desperation? Maybe someone who has commissioned an equivalently poor work can enlighten me.

If you are new at this, keep it up. There have been plenty of other new translators that have to endure the wave of criticism over and over again before they are given some respect.

Okay guys, I heard you and there's no more need for hate comments now... If you have constructive feedback of course, please let me hear it...

I have to admit I'm pretty overwhelmed and shocked by that kind of negative backlash. To be honest, I have been translating for a while now and never got any kind of negative feedback. I'm not a native English speaker, so of course there's going to be a typo or grammar mistake here and there, and I'm pretty sure my translations often sound a bit unnatural, but so far this didn't seem to be a major problem.

So unfortunately I don't think that I can make you guys happy at this point with my translation. I'll still try to get a proofreader to fix spelling and grammar mistakes, which is the least I can do. In the meantime, until I find someone to do that, please feel free to report any mistakes you spotted so I can fix them asap.

Concerning the overall translation, no it's not a MTL but I have to admit that we were pretty clueless about FGO. We did our research, but maybe we weren't the right people for that job.
I have uploaded my clean files, which I did put in a lot of hours of redrawing, so if anyone wants to redo this from scratch, they can save at least some time.
