I know I say this pretty frequently, but I really think it is most important to save these titles. Especially the mediocre and obscure ones. It seems likely the works that sold the poorest are most likely to be lost due to carelessness. Now that it is Christmas, I reflect on just how important it is to preserve pornographic media. I might be a little obsessive about it, and I might spend too much time interacting with porn. But I believe there is some value in it. There must be value in something that the majority of people are either ambivalent towards or are outright hostile... That said, I don't know what value I can contribute, as I horde media like a dragon roosts on gold... The dragon has no value in gold, but is merely possessive, jealous and, addicted by its seductive glint.

There is more media that exists, than a man could mathematically consume in his lifetime. And more is created every month. As well, every man can eventually make new media of peer quality. I'm not going to stop enjoying hentai and other "challenging" media. [cartoons, games, new media] But I wonder if I am no better than the dragon Smaug, if I am just as addicted to the pursuit of acquisition. The last several months, since the website almost went down for good... I haven't played much games in my leisure time or done much else other than archive.... I'm sorry I made this blog post. But. I wonder if this is a life worth living? Will I get hit by a car the day after my work is done? Or worse. Will I feel empty and jaded when I begin to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
