This was pretty entertaining and fun to follow until it started focusing on the whole demon world ritual stuff, then it felt like we dropped into some unrelated story with characters we didn't know and really lost the focus of our actual main characters.

I've been checking this comic for years whenever it gets updated and bumped to the front page. I click it, see if there are any tags of sexual nature, get disappointed, and close it. What a missed opportunity.

I don't have a problem with there being no fucking or anything, but like, only if what we're getting instead was interesting. The two main characters' developing relationship; that was interesting, that was cute. Forcibly hacked political intrigue that all boils down to, "I stabbed an important guy and killed another important guy, so if I lie about stuff while they're not here to say otherwise, I can do whatever I want. Wait, that actually worked?" is in no way interesting.

So a few things.

A) Yea, all this political "intrigue" is ridiculous. No one really cares about it. I get Shane is trying to world build and expand this into more than what the initial premise was, but it moves way way way WAY too slow for it. Comic has been going on for seven years and we've covered all of a few days at most, not counting time skips.

B) The art hasn't evolved at all. That's....not a good sign. Artists should refine their style over time. This looks like he drew everything all at the same time and has just been posting it up every so often. The only thing I can see is he's tightened up the outlines.

C) Speaking on artwork.....why does everyone have an extreme overbite in when shown in profile while talking? Why does everyone's mouth have to be opened so wide it looks like they're trying to swallow a watermelon?

D) It's ...disappointing....Been following since 2015 and it just feels like absolutely nothing has happened. A few minor conflicts and a B plot that I have zero interest in. For something that's been going on for seven years now I really feel like we should have more.

I'm going to have to disagree there. And if you dont like big plot arcs, well, plenty of shorter material on the site too. Both have their place. Seven years is 364 weeks. 247 pages divided by that is roughly a page every 10 days. You know many artists who are able to keep up that pace, let alone dedicated enough to do so for 7 years, for a free project? I dont. But if you have zero interest, like I said theres other material on the site that may offer more of what you are looking for.
