This is the last part of the 2020 collection. In total, 47k arts have been uploaded. Do you think this is a lot? Then here's a fact for you: during 2020, half a million new posts appeared on e621.net. So I spent a lot of time to select good arts. I was pleased that some people appreciated my work. I was happy to share my collection with like-minded people.

Here's a fact.

It took you far longer uploading this then anything else. Using E621DL you need about 2 (That's score and date range.) tags to achieve what you've posted. If a user would do the same but also add some theme-tags they'd end up with a properly sorted folder(s). Run it every now and then to keep the folders updated.

So people, do yourself a favor and do it yourself using the tool mentioned. You'll end up with images you want instead.

Gonna post my comment from the others, since we're up to ~48,000 "selected" images with random filenames and no sorting now (part 23 had 1,677 images, so more like 47,677).
I don't care that you responded, because the utter and complete lack of sorting still means that your "selection" process is fundamentally flawed. See a nice image here? It might be part of a set with another image in part 7 for all we know. If I want random images, I have a script to do that.

You could also have uploaded and sorted by modification date in order to get them in something close to the order they were opened in in-browser. But you didn't.

This is a pretty random gallery. Not sure what the "selection" criteria were, based on the sheer size of this dump… If I want e621, I tend to just go there. It's also not sorted at all.

Basically, I don't really understand why you're uploading (incomplete) siterips, as much as I enjoy (some of) the pictures.
I know you claim that the shit art isn't here, which is mostly fair, but at the same time none of the images here are sorted and as a result it's still easier to use tag searching on e621 itself.
You've posted 48,000 images so far (about 14 GiB). Who's going to look through that without tags or even meaningful filenames/separation of themes?

Just giving suggestions on how to make your galleries better. I don't really understand how this is better than just ignoring the junk on e621 where things are at least tagged individually and can be filtered by artist or subject matter (and can appear in chronological order by upload time, which is convenient for sequences).
Also, you're literally telling me what to do.

When you've posted 48,000 images, it doesn't feel overly "selective." More like a HDD dump. Especially when all the filenames are just the hashes that the site uses, rather than anything descriptive.

Yes, and there are also people who favorite absolutely anything else one can think of. What's your point? Different people have different tastes, sure, but I'm certain a well sorted gallery would get more favorites than any of these "selected" galleries have. And higher ratings, to boot.
