No one knows what exactly happened between the artist and Cover, people are just guessing.
And a week ago, Cover have just publicly apologized to the artist for whatever happened, so does the artist. It's rare to see Mizuryu Kei get so annoyed as he is actually known to be a very good tempered guy.

Most misinformation are caused by his assistant helping to do the streaming work on Bilibili (Mizuryu Kei didn't do any streaming for this event). Not blaming the assistant, as actually he didn't say much as well (and he declares to be "just guessing"), but he did spread some wrong info.

Also not accurate, the artist made a public letter acknowledging his past mistakes and apologize on Bilibili, and have been have a lot of interactives with the fans for a long time before this event.
