Thank you for your suggestion on the lower res. Right now I don't have the social visibility to give out without any sense of reward. But yeah my ultimate goal is to have enough support to give more freely what I do, I mean as an artist it's the only thing I dream of.

tl;dr: I'm not a money-hungry capitalist, just an artist looking for support to share my kinks.

I like your idea of the sample, that would stop people from getting angry before all these mosaic squares.
Also thank you for your kind words (even if ngl I'm a bit dishearten to post here any of my futur comic work, I guess I'll see that with future me)

You've got a good point that anyone willing to fap for free could be cold-showered down by a sudden "agressive" censorship. I can understand that.
I guess my state of mind right now is just to not post my comic work here to avoid people getting angry at my work. Especially since it prone kindness love and understanding.
But I keep in mind that mosaic can be insulting for some people, got ya.

I will think about another way to make it work for everyone in the future

No need to delete anything. It's perfectly fine for you to promote your work here. For the future, I suggest you consider instead of censoring your work, to simply advertise using a lower resolution version, while selling a lossless higher resolution version.

Update: The low rating is exclusively due to the aggressive censorship. Pay no heed to it, I can assure you it's not due to your art. Western works with worse art but higher ratings posted here, are chiefly because they weren't so aggressively censored. Hence my suggestion for lower resolution instead of censoring it.

Another way you can promote your art without censoring or lowering the resolution, is by simply providing a sample of your work. 10 pages out of 50 as an example.

Either way, please don't be discouraged and continue doing what you like.

Maybe, but it's not like other artists do things differently. Unless you're a well-known big shot, it's always that typical medium res teaser pic on Pixiv, where you can get the rest of the set on whatever crowdsourcing platform the artist uses. A comic can't really have different variations of the same picture, so the artist makes edits.

That being said, mosaic or light saber filters are absolute cancer. They are the worst of the worst in terms of censorship. In fact, DLSite uses mosaic on digital releases as a way to punish people for buying digital and enticing them into physical books, the ones where you have to wait in a sweaty sausagefest to buy.

Please don't be like DLSite. You really should use the standard thin black censorship lines on medium res instead, then upgrade to high res / no censorship on the paid product.

Trust me, you really don't want to take money from the one-off people who don't really care about you. They will get annoyed and re-upload your work. The less annoying your sample is, the less likelihood someone will re-upload your paid product. Generally speaking, you should be targeting the people who want to archive your work and want it in the highest quality possible. Cater to them, as they will become your loyal followers, and those types generally keep their purchases to themselves.

As others have pointed out, you're definitely on the right track. Uploading your work as a sample definitely raises your visibility while lowering the chance of piracy. Just know that a man's gotta fap (lol), and if you interrupt that process with a myopia simulator, you're gonna have a very pissed off person instead of a "hey, I actually like this and want more" kinda person.

tl;dr - mosaic sucks ass.
