Tbh I wonder if Cleophee wasn't introduced by Tot as a second wife for Tritepin as a reference to Goultard who canonically (in the comics) had Three wives.
For those who aren't aware Goultard in the animated series only had one wife because of the censors since it aired on TV for kids.

WAIT. This isn't a cartoon? This was originally a comic? I knew it wasn't American animation, because some of the structure and style seemed, different.

@fiamole Wait, did he had three wives at once? Otherwise that wouldn't make sense per say as with him being immortal, he would had found love again overtime or did they wanted to make him "loyal" to his first wife?

@TheGoodGiggle and @Joanime Wakfu is an animated series/mmorpg PC game first and foremost, it's not based on a comic. However, it's a crossmedia franchise and there's plenty of supplementary canon material/spin-offs in comic/"manga" form. Some characters appear in those supplementary comics before they debuted in the series itself, or had their origins fleshed out in them . Goultard, Kabrok the Black Crow, or Remington Smisse spin-off comics have some scenes that wouldn't fly in what was marketed as a kids cartoon when it airied on France 3. So yes, Wakfu comics exist, but what happens in seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the animated series isn't an adaptation of some pre-existing source comic.

Anyway, literally all Wakfu girls are fantastic! With Amalia being my personal favorite, but I love Cleophee, too. Thanks for sharing and updating.

@rencen: Yes, three at the same time, and I think they were sisters. They were witches who attacked the town Goultard defended, and they fought back and forth so often they started to like each other - I think that's how it went.
And then some symbiote thing killed all three of them plus the children they had, to make Goultard go insane with rage, because the symbiote fed off that rage and then took over his body. Then the symbiote terrorized the world for a long time. I don't know how Goultard eventually got free, but at a point later on he also went full schizo and made alternate personalities with a fraction of his own power, and he also had decade or century long sleeps every once in a while.

Problem is that some of these stories were in the Wakfu magazines and some were in the Goultards Bazaar comic, and it's not clear which, if any, telling of his story is canon. I kind of like that though, it makes his legend feel more like a folk tale - passed on by word of mouth only.
