The first Circle Hitori translation I've ever attempted, and certainly not the last. Very long and hard to get through this one. Even though the text bubbles are designed easily for use with paint, the script itself was messy when put through Google Translate into English. Still, the one line of advice I can say when translating this one was "improvising is key", so a lot of the script isn't exactly what a fluent speaker would say is correct-if they compared this to the original Japanese or Chinese versions. You'll at least be able to understand the general direction of where this story is going in English now, but with some pages, I added references to other stories that are not apart of the main story here. That was mainly to fill in some of the blanks and give the story a connection to other works-but that isn't the main focus. The Sound effects were also another touch that I added in, just to keep up with the sheer insanity on display.

I don't really understand how to do that with paint on a laptop... I don't have that much experience with translations either, and I was only able to get to work on this because of Covid-19 and me being off from work. I'm about to go back to work soon, so I had to decide if I either wanted this to come out as is, or put in more effort to make it look better. That takes time, so I went with the former, as other Circle Hitori translations into English are coming from me, before I have to stop and focus on working again.

Thanks for translating this. Even if it isn't the best translation, I can at least understand what is happening in the story now.
That said the quality of the translation really drops off the further you go in. The last 17 pages are so bad I cannot understand what is being said at all anymore.

Dear duck, you can try gimp, a free image editor (friking 1 GB in size), that the interface sucks but functional :) like many gnu programs
For your work apply alpha (transparency) for your texts, install a font that seems like one of a manga, and remember to ask for advice, maybe you already know but don't consider :D
