For those not familiar with togruta physiology, the bits on the top of the head are called montrals, while the headtails are called lekku (same as twi'leks, except they don't look like tumors on togruta).
Lekku are fleshy like normal and purely aesthetic, but montrals are hard, hollow horns that are used to detect vibrations up to 90 feet away; like a mix of ears and sonar.
It really kills my immersion to see them squish like that, when there's a perfectly good substitute in the lekku there.

I'd be down for a Luke meets an older, MILFier Ahsoka Tano and they have a kid to set up a new protagonist. Not sure about Togruta specifically, but Twi'lek seem to be related in some way, and humans can for sure reproduce with Twi'leks (with viable offspring even!) in the official canon.
