Because it's the same face with the same body almost always in the same pose and from the same angle, and almost certainly paintovers of photographs without any variation of style, with wonky anatomy if you know what you're looking for.

There's dozens of artists that do this, and they're all interchangeable. They're a plague on the porn art community, soulessly cranking out 50+ pic variant sets as if doing dozens of extra layers makes the same exact pose and figure different somehow. It's like buying fifteen copies of the same issue of a comic to get all the variant covers; you're missing the point. If all the effort that went into making fifteen variations of the same picture instead went into unique content for a porn game or drawing a comic it would be a far better use of the artist's time.

I agree with mass producing aspect you mentioned (or overusing graphical filters in general) being detrimental to uniqueness factor to an extent, but even there I take issue with the fact that you might be underestimating how individual inking or using wider palette of colors can change person's perception of what they're looking at.

Side note to 'only six faces' argument: I don't know about guys, but female beauty geometrically tends to collapse very much into how sakimichan is presenting it. There's relatively small number of minor differences between how truly beautiful - or even higher tier normie - women look like. Your preference for female a from female b stems mostly - if we control for all other factors like hair color, frame or even head's size - from individual anatomical microscopic imperfections (which are very hard to consciously notice and therefore capture in art) or your own psychological projections rooted in other traits.

yes, devil's in the details (those characters aren't perfectly identical) and limitation brews creativity (differentiation through small touches) but arguing 'individual approach' will brings us to my last paragraph about imperfections (because again, standard for beauty is set but whom you'll find most attractive is result not only of perceived genetic quality of a face - or representation of it - but also other factors mentioned above, all of which are processed so holistically and so fast that most of times the only part of it you'll be consciously aware of is the final verdict).

This works with vapid souless empty high quality level imagery that you'd see from the D-va series, Even so far as the Yohra robot girls,
but in other things, doesn't seem to work so well.
I saw this SAME exact effect happen when you look at Dimitrys art. Look at his older hand drawn stuff vs the newer CG stuff.
