I never understood stories like these. Even if people in this world have hypnotic powers... why would they want more people to share it with them? Wouldn't it be better to kill all other people with the same power? Why share?

In the case of the guy, if it was me I would think like that.l Lets kill all these other A-holes so that I can rule the world myself. Likewise, I am not a person that likes sharing, so why would I swap girls? I guess they shared the info with this guy because he was a weak type that woudl share?
