We have here a figure that came out last year of one Shiratori Amane, a nurse who is victimized in the eroge and hentai anime The Nurse You Don’t Know, or Anata no Shiranai Kangofu. Her original character design is by Toshihide Sano. She’s built in 1/6 scale and comes from figure maker Questioners, who as far as I know haven’t made anything else. Curious, that. Let’s take a closer look at her.

She comes with a removable nurse’s coat, and under that she wears some black bondage garments. Charming. Her nurse’s cap is also removable but taking it off leaves a particularly conspicuous hole on the top of her head. The hat doesn’t really match well with her strappy harness outfit but since the empty hole is rather unsightly, I keep it on her.

She comes in a spiffy, gimmicky box emblazoned with a green first aid cross. Accessories include a stethoscope, glasses, an additional pair of arms for different poses, and of course her coat and a highly detailed chair. She comes apart easily; too easily, maybe. I’ve had a few times where I accidentally knocked her off her chair and she was cleanly bisected.

Paint and sculpting is a mixed affair. On the plus side, I really like how her hair is sculpted; her tresses twist in myriad directions, heightening realism when she is displayed recumbent and adding a bit more flair to her otherwise subdued pose when seated. I like her toes, too.

On the downside, there are some very visible lines running along her breasts and hips which are rather ugly. Also, her ass is sculpted so that she can comfortably sit in her chair but it looks unnaturally flattened when she is lying supine. There are some areas where the contrast in paint darkness is rather stark; it doesn’t look too bad under normal lighting conditions but it’s still definitely noticeable.

Shiratori Amane was one of the most expensive figures I’d bought when I got her last September, and while I’m not sure she was worth the price, she still looks pretty good. She’s definitely unique, and since I admire distinctiveness and the 1/6 scale size, I’m happy to have her in my collection.

Being strapped into a leather bondage outfit is pretty embarrassing. What could be more humiliating?

What about if we trot out a tentacle monster?

Quick question. I also bought the figure and I can’t figure out how to remover her coat. I keep thinking I’m about to break it. Can you please tell me how to take the coat off? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, you’ll have to pull her head, arms, and lower torso off (on my figure, they come off without much force). Then you can open her coat and pull it off of one of her shoulder stumps and then the other … this might take a bit of force but I think her coat is relatively sturdy.

The Shiratori Amane figure is quite unique. I’ve never seen a pvc statue with such detail. After I bought this figure, I saw the anime and there were more nurses -I don’t know the names-. A nurse with black hair and red lips… does anybody knows her name? ^^

I found the website (NSFW) for the ero-game via the late, lamented Heisei Democracy (man I miss that site) and it appears that her name is Akira Akamine. The younger, brown-haired girl seems to be Nana Ogawa and the blonde-haired nurse is Chitose Ayanuma.

It’s a great anime, I liked it a lot XD I wonder if there’s going to be a second episode? It looked kinda like they were getting ready to spotlight the blonde nurse, so I hope that there will be.

It’s a bit difficult to strip. It took me almost an hour.
I wish an Akira Akamine figure. She´s so sexy!!!
Sano Toshihide’s illustrations are wonderful.
Vispo is one of the best sculptors. I owned Daiki’s Seyada Tara… OMG! Huge scale!!! She´s only a girl… but she’s very pretty, specially her hair.

I’ve had some figures like that … like MegaHouse’s Aldra figure, it took me forever to figure out how to take off her clothes. It was more annoying since I didn’t have a choice, because I had to remove the plastic film that was packed under her clothes to keep the paint from scraping.

I’d love figures of all the nurses XD I really liked the h-anime; I wish it would get localized in the US, but it seems like the hentai industry here is completely dead.

Oh man, I remember that figure, I saw it years ago on Heisei Democracy and I wanted it so badly. Unfortunately I was in school and had no money. I guess nowadays it’s not unusual for a figure to be fully detailed, but back then it was so cool see a figure as ero as that.

Yeah -_- I also heard that some h-anime studios don’t want to license their shows to the US since sometimes, Japanese buyers will purchase the American version since it’s uncensored. It really sucks 🙁

For some reason, I’ve always loved anime women that do not look like schoolgirls … I like mature, especially if their lips are red. That’s why I love Akira Akamine!

I like both, but I notice that there are a lot of people who don’t like adult-looking characters. I can’t figure out why that is. I’m getting old so I’m starting to feel weird when I watch anime with thirteen year olds.

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever had onigiri with a filling; I’ve always just eaten it as a rice ball, although my parents always called it musubi instead of onigiri. I wonder if there’s a difference?
