Meynet's style is weird. great but weird. His male characters, at least some of them are more inspired by the "marcinelle" style (a more cartoony style of franco belgian comics, which is also called "ligne sombre") by opposition to the "Bruxelle" style (or "ligne claire", examplified by Hergé's tintin and Edgar P. Jacob's "Blake & Mortimer"). As for his female characters, if anything, they have more in common with 50's american pin-up illustrations mixed with an ounce of "ligne claire" than with any purely european style.

In other words it's weird but great. I really recommend his series Tatiana K.

Goscinny was a writer. I doubt he would influence how someone draws something.
