Huh, its been so long since I had seen this, I had forgotten all about the "The things I do for Gotham/I'll take that as a yes" dialogue.

Also, I have my own head-canon about the whole thing.

Nightwing was trained by Batman, who is, among other things, the worlds second greatest Escape Artist (with only someone literally from a planet of Gods, Scott Free/Mr. Miracle, being the first).

He was tied up with nothing but duct tape, and if you look closely at the wrists, not very securely at that.

If he wanted to, he could have easily broken out of that at any time. He chose not to to get info from Harley, and then chose not to for her Hey Nani Nani! ^_^

The dialogue is clearly part of how Fred tries to balance out his kinks. I don't think he's ever drawn more taboo stuff like incest, rape, shota, loli, bestiality, etc. Pretty much all of his kinks can qualify as socially normal or "vanilla", so some people may not find them exciting; he probably writes in dialogue like this to make you feel more like you're seeing something "wrong", so his works feel kinkier.
