As far as the changed art style goes, Coin RAND hadn't released anything in almost 3 years before this came out. The guy's obviously been out of the saddle for so long he couldn't match his previous efforts artistically.

Perhaps he should have refined his technique until he was back in peak condition. But I honestly think he just wanted to wrap this story up so he could move on. Not ideal, but hey, we can only take what he's willing to give.
