I've being casing it almost every day on the campaing I'm playing, as long as I have remaining spells and it doesn't look like my sleep may be disturbed, I will cast prestidigitaion to clean equipment, fix equipment and heat thebedrolls (this one lasts only for an hour, but the North Marshes are cold, and any moment of heat is welcome)

@tchubert Unlimited use cantrips in DnD only became a thing starting with 5th edition (or 4th if you count At-Will abilities for spellcasters). In 3rd/3.5 they used level 0 spell slots, which you had a limited amount of per rest.
