Having a bunch of accounts downrank my comments doesn't make them any less true though.
You deliberately chose not to translate it into English because you wanted to give Spanish readers special treatment.
That is deliberate discrimination no matter how much you try to deny it.

Nobody said you had to translate it you into English... this was never the point.

The point I was making was that you are deliberately taking actions to create "equity".
That kind of mindset is disgusting and belongs on Tumblr or twitter.. or a trashcan.

that the translator had a particular group of people in mind when he chose to not translate it.
If you can read English, it is easy to understand Spanish as well...

Translating it isn't necessary.

But the same thing goes for English as well. If you can read Spanish then you can easily understand English.
So there is no need to translate it into Spanish.

This was never about what language it was translated into, it was about the translator deliberately trying to exclude a group of readers.
Look at it like this... if I said:

"I can translate it into Spanish... but I will translate it into Icelandic because there are too many Spanish translated stories out there!"

What would you call that? Even if the action itself is "merely" discriminatory, the action itself when presented is still the same.
It is created in order to deliberately make it better for one group, at the cost of another simply based on something one was born into.
