If you look closely, his artstyle comes as incredibly simplified and overly stylistic. His experience with monthly comic issue releases in addition to doing plenty of other drawings meantime led him to this point where, like it or hate it, but he found his own style that allows him to be easely recognizable while maintaining a level of details needed for image to not come as unfinished and/or bland, while not overburdening it with all the petty stuff others try to pass as a 'professional approach'. Same thing, really, as many professional doujinshi creators develop - cut the chaff, and all that's left is... well, this.

He may be not the best person to come to if you need some insanely detailed thing a-la Renaissance war paintings or 'Where's Waldo?', but what he does - fast produced, easely digestible, and immediately recognizable stories - he does well.

Fred’s style may be a little cluttered but i think it gives his work an energetic quality and isnt bad by any measure. Seriously he produces consistent quality on a pretty regular schedule. I like his stuff because everyone has these exaggeratedly heroic proportions. Its like looking at demigods fuck. I swear this is how some creation myths explain how some rivers and canyons are made. I also appreciate the deep cuts into nostalgia. Something about seeing characters ive known for ages fuck like they were made for it.

Yes, he finishes most of his stuff. But it takes time to get coloration of this quality. Note the gradient tones, shadows, and light reflections. I'm not sure if anyone does it better. I prefer artists that learn to draw material that's truer to the source material but Fred Perry is still top notch.

Although I love Fred's works mainly for the Transformers stuff, I believe I've just found my new favorite of the entire bunch. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my all-time favorite movies that I've grown up with.

Fred's artwork is beautiful and full of sexual love. The dialogue is cartoonish and sexy, very entertaining though I wonder if it sometimes takes people out of the mood. Anyways, the characters are themselves and I like the references.

Betty Boop showing up as a small cameo, putting her line of Jessica being a lucky woman is a nice Easter egg. The talk of cat's cradle reminds me of how Roger reacted to Jessica playing pattycake with Acme. A lot of nice details in here.

@vjm3 i think the only comic that he didn't finish was the spider gwen and miles stuff, mostly cause he IMO has a shitting voting system, like maybe he should make a poll to which comic should be finished instead of making new ones, cause then after 10 pages he makes another poll and people choose another new stuff and that leaves old comics unfinished like the miles and gwen i just said.
