(It's important to remember that at the time, the only person we know of in Japan who thought Yasuke was even human to begin with was Nobunaga, and Nobunaga's endless fascination with the unknown and lightly known is well baked into who he was - and a black man in Sengoku era Japan was something totally unseen. That he proved extremely competent also didn't hurt his case.)

@Soldier A To be fair, the entire thing is an alternative continuity to real life so that might not necessarily be true here. After all, Nobunaga was supposed to have died at Honnoji, and instead he became a big-boobed lady (who I swear became even bigger boobed and smaller after that second dose...)

Yasuke could have also transformed into a girl or somehow became immortal through something he stumbled across (like maybe a spare bottle of the potion during fighting? I dunno) since Nobunaga and Ranmaru clearly were able to become immortal through means that the two girls were not aware of.
