nah, i really don't like removing contents from ehentai.. if my galleries got targeted for whatever reason, it's better to have some backup contents somewhere, instead of none..

It's not "removing contents", it's getting rid of now pointless galleries that clog up the server space.

Firstly, It's a quite slippery slope that's primed to be abused by asshole tbh.. Like, if people could combine other's galleries - and then expunged the original - then there will be some large-scale purging wars between uploaders (especially the big whale), with many original uploaders caught in between as collateral damage.

Secondly, backup; not just from DMCA, but also from being sent to sadpanda. For example, since my Lumarianne20 gallery got tagged with lolicon and sent to sadpanda, Pokom's galleries are basically the only things left on vanilla ehentai. If I expunged them before, then all will be gone (from the casual viewer)- which kinda defeats my purpose of archiving and introducing these artists' works to the wider hentai community in the 1st place.

And finally, for what it's worth, Pixiv sets are still contents - at least for me. It served its purpose of introducing these artist's works in the 1st place (as well as archiving them, in case the artist (or Pixiv) suddenly decided to remove them - which happens so many times). Many viewers dislike that practice, and i understand; but if you start archiving Pixiv's work and come across Pixiv's pages that have lost most of its content, you will realize how valuable these "samples" could be.

As such, i don't want to discourage anyone from posting on ehentai. If it creates a mess, then i can clean it up for you. But if there's nothing in there, then it's gone - for good. And i fear the 2nd scenario a lot more than sorting through dozens of galleries on ehentai..

First of all, there are ALREADY purging wars between pokom and other uploaders, and have been for quite some time (since that pork=zero faggot first started this spamming nonsense years ago). There are some loopholes in the rules that let them do this, and the mods refuse to do anything because they're a bunch of autistic retards.

Second, who gives a shit about the vanilla site other than using it to access the forums?

well, just because there's already a war, doesn't mean i have to take part it in.. My job is to archive as many artworks as i can, fill in the missing gap by crowdsourcing, and spread my torrent far and wide - a purging war has zero benefits and cause a shit ton of trouble, so why even bother?

and secondly, quite a lot actually.. many users can't access ex, and many don't even have an account on e-hentai.. that Lumarianne20 gallery lost 2/3 of its view after it got sent to the fjord, so yeah.
