Megu (メグ) ≠ Meg. No the "u" is not silent this time; it's not like "desu (です)".
What you did was try to localize her name, and butchered it. Her name could've been Megumi and she just shortened it to Megu, but now with your "translation" there's no nuance there.
If you don't know Japanese, then don't "translate" from Japanese.

Way to go! You fixed it after the fact I pointed it out. You know what would've been better? Actually knowing Japanese, not relying on a machine translator, and not making the mistake in the first place.
If you messed up her name I fear what else you managed to mangle up in in this half-hearted attempt of a translation.

These sentences are definitely different from, "We're siblings. We musn't do stuff like that."
One highlights his struggle/efforts to distance himself over all these years, and how he had to reject his desires. This is only empowered by the memories we see on page 7.
The other totally lacks anything of the sort. And yes it would insinuate he wanted to court her all this time, contrary to your belief.

Lastly, translating "Megu" as "Meg" isn't incorrect, either. Even Japanese people themselves often translate their names so they sound more natural in English, but I only used "Meg" because that's what my translator gave me.

How would you know if it's incorrect or not? You do not speak Japanese. Also even when they try to pronounce "Meg", it'll still be "Megu (メグ)" regardless.
If you wanted to say the author used katakana for the very reason you're claiming, then I'd give pause.
The thing is you probably don't know what I just said entitles because you lack any nuance found in the text. And once again, this is all because you don't speak Japanese.

You obviously don't care about improving, nor do you care about maintaining the author's original vision. It seems to me that all you care about is farming whatever clout you get from these releases.

Dude, you can't be serious. I literally commented on your previous release like 2 days ago, and you've managed to do the SAME exact mistakes everywhere. I'm literally copy-pasting here because everything still holds.

The pace at which you're doing these pretty much guarantees that you're sacrificing quality for mediocre "fast" results. I don't know if you hate Bifidus or something to do this to his work, but my god.

1) You don't redraw. I know it takes time, effort, and practice, and I know it sucks, but redrawing is unfortunately a basic part of scanlation. The guide below should pull you through 90%+ of any redrawing scenario you'll ever encounter.
2) Your typesetting is bizarre - almost as if you were adding random spaces between words. Also, you sometimes forget to a) center the text in the bubbles; and b) center-align it. Guide below is extremely well-made, and simple to follow. Text is also waaaay too big. See guide below.
3) There's dust in your bubbles (text remnants after you clean). Guide below on cleaning covers that part.
4) Please export black and white images as greyscaled PNGs, and NOT RGB JPGs. This is to a) avoid artifacting; b) maintain quality; and c) de-bloat file size.

I'm not an expert on Japanese, but here's what I see:

The general jist of the story is communicated.
The nuance / tone of the characters is lost.

For example, on page 10, the older brother character seems to be kind of insinuating that he always loved his little sister, but was putting up an emotional wall to stop himself from doing something he considers taboo.

Something like
"...! ....!"
"Because we're real siblings, that's what I told (tell?) myself [...]"
"The walls I've built up are [...]"

gets boiled down to
"We're siblings. We musn't do stuff like that."

And ironically, on page 15, when she's saying something like
"We (I?) shouldn't be doing this ... ... but I'm happy."

turns into
"It's bad... ... ... but I'm so happy."

Also some of the sounds she was making don't exactly match up, but I'm guessing this was an intentional decision?

"there are plenty of worse translators out there" is a bold claim to make when you're not even a translator yourself. I'd definitely agree there are worse rewriters out there but at least those don't try to base their rewrites on plagiarised work like you did with 8TB either.

It should also be strongly encouraged to just get the quality at least decent at the initial upload and just get all issues fixed in 1, maybe 2 updates instead of spamming updates for every minor thing separately to hog more front-page attention.

You translate works with the bare minimum of effort, using tools and shortcuts rather than understanding and artistic license. You do it for free and upload it for free on site freely viewed by people who you are doing a service for while simultaneously badmouthing them. You receive help and advice from people more experienced than yourself and wave it off, content to stay stagnant. What you've said, the way you talk, and how you've butted heads with people who gatekeep for quality clearly show you're from the "lol touch grass weeb losers" crowd, yet for some reason you're spending quite some time on here responding to people between uploads. At best, what you're doing is a waste of time for yourself; at worst (which you're making it), you're pissing off loads of people as you make a site you don't even care about a marginally worse place.
