So, uh, what exactly has been happening with lewdua recently? I have read a lot of people who seem to think that they've changed or something, but I can't remember exactly how and I want to know if reading this is worthwhile.

@dragontamer8740 a lot of their stuff became quite soap-opera-y, and some of the characters became really unlikable after awhile and really don't feel like the characters used to. Not that much action either, just a lot of drama and foreplay.
I can't say whether or not that this includes this, as I've only seen snippets of it that were uploaded previously, but it doesn't seem to have those same problems.

Lewdua is good at making sex scenes and scenarios but drama is not their forte and it doesn't help matters that the drama aspect is something none of the fans asked for. But to answer the original question the potion seller series seems to be free from the soap opera shit that plagues the main series

@swordholder The main series has confused me for quite some time. After reading this summary I realise that I had missed a lot of mid-early plot events, but now I'm also just confused on the direction Lewdua went with the plot. I'm just glad that the main series has nothing to with this side-story, since I've always preferred the potion seller side story anyway.

@4 Humours there's also the issue that they've stopped drawing new images as much and have relied heavily on small alterations with very little text, so it takes ten pages to get through actions that would've taken four panels on a single page with any other author. And also drawing variants of the same image to pad out releases, as is shown clearly with this gallery. They take the term "decompressed storytelling" to ridiculous and farcical levels which makes the soap opera bullshit feel all that much worse, because you're sitting through twenty pages of small eye movements and single fingers curling only for the girls to be assholes to eachother.
