"Aunt Ayako with the vertical sweater" doesn't make any sense whatsoever :P Also if you like to point something out at least have the decency to - politely - tell someone what the improvement should be. Plus am I suggesting this is anything but a translation that's borne out of love? I mean....

"Aunt Ayako with the vertical sweater" make perfect sense, why? looks at p.1 or any other page which she has clothes on, she wearing vertical sweater. "fresh" is more "doesn't make sense" than "with the vertical sweater"
