the artist probably made him dumb on purpose, I guess because he wants to follow either the cliche "MC thinks the interested person turned out promiscuous, which is untrue and they are still waiting for him" or "MC is shy but not really a good person, and the interested person will bring the best out of them" which is more rare to occur.

Either way, good art and nice translation although I found the used words amusing.

I'll weigh in on the bolded words experimentation. Too much over-emphasis. When every other phrase is bolded, the emphasis loses its impact. If you want to get an idea of what I mean, I'll re-type these thoughts randomly making half the phrases all-caps to properly simulate the feeling of someone randomly shouting every 3 seconds mid-sentence.

I'll WEIGH IN on the BOLDED words EXPERIMENTATION. TOO MUCH over-EMPHASIS. WHEN every OTHER PHRASE is BOLDED, the emphasis LOSES its IMPACT. If you WANT TO get an idea OF what I MEAN, I'll RE-TYPE these thoughts RANDOMLY making half the PHRASES ALL-CAPS to PROPERLY simulate THE feeling of someone randomly SHOUTING every 3 SECONDS MID-sentence.

The bolding isn't inherently a bad idea, but you should be a bit more selective about what words or phrases you want to put some oomph behind.

I don't know why everyone's getting so pissed off about page 6. The MC's a lot like us but the difference here is he's said the quite thing we all think when faced by someone we are intimidated by out loud. I get it she's a cute tomboy but it's clear at some point when they were growing up their relationship soured thanks to his lack of height growth plus shyness getting mixed with her borderline bully/yandere attitude as he started to shut himself off only made it worse.

Hell even the story chapters end here where you'd think he'd be happier just shows him being hesitant and conflicted.
I honestly can't blame him really.
