1-2 - Man, the little details... Empty bottles on the nightstand, no bedroom decor, the place in shambles... Regardless of how little he has going for himself, at least he's keeping it together enough to provide for his kids. Hang in there, Dad.

5 - Come on, Dad... It's not obvious that his date didn't go like it should have? Give him the sage advice that he needs.

14 - ACK!! I understand the need to get right to the point and not risk boring the reader with Serah repeating the entire plot up until this point, but what story is she telling Morrisa, exactly? Did she spill the beans that her sooooo nice date was with her brother, or was she somehow vague enough so that Morrisa would continue thinking that this is her FATHER they're talking about?

16 - Well, that answers my question about page 14. "Wait, what??" lol

19 - Yeah, this story's been kinda light-hearted and inconsequential of late... Time for the tragic backstory about their mom's absence and how Serah blames HERSELF for it! (This is gonna hurt...)

20 - Aww man. We just missed something awesome, didn't we?

25 - Oh no, not HER!

27 - Those last two panels... What's going on here with Zebra-Hooker? Jealousy, and... sympathy, perhaps?

39 - I don't care how often Dad may screw up. I love him for trying and never giving up.

42 - END?? Boooooo!!! Nice little twist implying a lot more's going on with Zebra-Hooker, but the day's only just beginning! We can't end here! There's too much Friday left to go before we delve into Saturday Mornings.

Love how, despite how somewhat neglectful the dad is, he can still pick up on the obvious stuff coming from Seb's behavior. Love how the dad is just running through the "you fucked up" checklist and the obvious problem is obvious as a result. The lack of protection probably led to the main problem and it could show how both Sarah and Seb weren't really thinking any of this through. Yeah they could keep their relationship a secret easily....so long as Sarah never gets pregnant. Seb's lack of consideration on that front is probably what led to Sarah getting upset the previous day. I mean, yeah they both want sex and want to keep things going but if Seb isn't even going to consider getting protection for both their sakes it just shows how he's not really serious about things, at least as far as Sarah is concerned. Of course, Sarah should have at least mentioned protection at some point so she's not guiltless, but as any old guy in their 60s will tell you, it falls on the guy to make sure they're safe in the end.

P.13: If Marissa thinks Serah's dad wanted more when Serah didn't want it...I'm wondering if the next thing we'll see at the lynx residence is a cop at the door or something. This has a lot of potential to get a lotta bad, a lotta fast.

And like lvellios86 says, half of the fun of this series has been the lewds, but the other half has been the story, and I've long since been at the point of "either way, I'm hooked on seeing what happens," and now I'm so invested in these characters that this chapter could be completely un-sexy and I don't see myself being the least bit unsatisfied.

But they started mating a week ago. And given that actual pregnancy happens with a one week window. Its right in there for the windows for Sarah to feel an "implantation" twinge, especially if she got fertilized on the first or second mating. a few days earlier (it can take a day or two for the egg to work its way down into the uterus from the Fallopian tubes)

People bitching about comments regarding an unwanted pregnancy appearing in the story line of a soap opera, which this story is. No shit, their count of "being caught" is Seb 0, Serah 2. In fact, if you count *the very next day* after they first had sex, when she pushed him out of the closet known for being "the make-out closet" during the school day, which was kinda reckless, and Rachelle the mouse indeed assumed that's why they were in there, her count could technically be 3.

Update: Page 30 - I get that Serah probably means for Jayden to turn around so she can put clothes on, but that gave me a vibe of, "Ooh, BAD idea when talking to someone who wants to keep you quiet and is in a bad mental state."

There's no indication the dad found out anything. The last time the zebra was there, she told Serah that she could hear her clearly having sex with someone, but that their dad slept through it. I doubt she said anything to their dad since there's no real need to. She thought it might be the brother, and now Serah has pretty much confirmed it.
Still, seems like the zebra isn't just a random hooker the dad brought home. Sounds like they have a relationship where he is enough of a regular that she has a key and can let herself in when they have a session scheduled.

Personally I think that the zebra being surprisingly close with the dad was a behind-the-scenes retcon and she was not intended to be that way when she made her first appearance. In Wednesday Mornings she jumps straight to calling Serah a whore and a slut after some very mild roasting, and immediately afterwards it's revealed that she stole from the dad, who curses her as "that fucking whore" and is apparently unable to remember the zebra's name. That's not at all the kind of behaviour you'd expect from either end of a relationship where there's apparently enough trust for the zebra to have been given a key and free reign over the house "for a long time".

Basically I don't think you can read too much into the dad and the zebra's relationship by looking at Serah's previous encounter with her because that was effectively from a different version of the story where the relationship with the father didn't exist. That, or the dad is hilariously irresponsible and in the absolute mother of dysfunctional relationships - which I don't think is the case because so far he's been consistently shown to be at least trying to be a good dad to the kids even if he doesn't quite manage it a lot of the time.

It's impressive that even when i know there won't be much action in a new page i'm still on the edge of my seat with each new update. Serah being so reluctant to accept the zebra girl's help is sad to me. I mean i understand it but it also feels very shortsighted on her part. so far she's essentially revealed the secret of her and seb multiple times and while seb is an idiot in his own right for not thinking any of this through, Serah should be way more accepting of any potential help she gets offered from anyone who figures it out. Also yeah, her assuming it was seb in the shower without at least checking first was kinda dumb considering that it could've easily been her dad. Then again that's what i love about this story, nobody is running around with 300IQ brains easily tricking everyone, it's so easy for them to get caught and Serah experiences that firsthand almost everytime. Sure they had some close calls with their dad but they've mostly been lucky that he doesn't pay much attention to stuff.

@KitsuneOtaku I think they mean that their parents were together but didn't get married until a few years after the kids were born. Hence Seb implying that they only reason they got married and stayed together was because of him and his sister, not because they actually wanted to stay together.

Looking back at the rest of this story, I think that's definitely the vibe since Serah told her friend "What if I make him disappear to?" to which her friend reassured her that that wasn't her fault. So, yeah, thinking the Mom just skipped town on them and Serah and Seb have it in their minds that maybe she left because she didn't want to have kids and/or didn't want to be married in the first place but felt that she had to because of them. Think Keith is about to make sure Seb has it straight.

The whole comic went by without any outright sex (though not without lewds), just plot and character development, and by the time it was halfway through, I was wondering if it could keep it up for the rest of the comic and stay good.

As far as I'm concerned, it did. In fact, it kept getting better, and I don't feel the least bit unsatisfied.

And in a comic that started in May 2015, almost almost seven years ago, and has centered around furry twincest since the start...that's saying something.

If this is setting up for either part 2 or Saturday Mornings being "the flashback episode near the end of a series," the kind that's told entirely or at least mostly in flashbacks, that finally answers most of the ongoing questions and puts most of the story in a new light...

That might put this as my favorite furry comic of all time.

If Jayden found out he was cheating on his wife with her and cut his ear off, presumably for not telling her about being married or straight up lying that he wasn't, that doesn't really add up to her continuing to come around and how she's shown she doesn't get along with his kids but she cares about him, *and* she said she's known Keith "since before [Serah] could walk" and Keith and their mom didn't get married until the kids were 4 or 5, so she'd have had time to find out. And if what happened was his wife cut his ear off after finding out he was cheating on her, that might add up even less to why she'd still be with him afterwards. So...I don't see either of them doing it.

The first thing that caught my attention in the last page was how the dad's right ear was fully intact. This would mean he could have gotten his right ear damage from either his wife or the zebra lady. Probably when one of them found out about the other. After all, the family portrait earlier showed his right ear was already damage, so it is safe to say it wasn't related to his wife 'disappearance' as mentioned by Sarah.

So my thoughts now are that Seb and Serah were an unplanned pregnancy. Keith and their mom were not planning to get married, but when the kids arrived they felt like they had to. But married life wasn't something the mom was suited to and she just abandoned them. I think she's alive and well, she just up and left. But that does a number on a kid and both of the twins carry some guilt thinking that maybe it was their fault she left. That would explain part of Serah's breakdown. She thinks that whatever it is that she did (in her mind) to make their mom leave, will make Seb leave her too.

As for zebra girl, I don't think Keith is cheating with her. I think we'll find that she is an old girlfriend who perhaps moved away or for whatever reason they broke up, but it was amicable. After their mom left, they began reconnecting and eventually started to see each other regularly. However, Keith hasn't let the kids know yet because he's not sure how to bring it up with them and/or because they have a friends with benefits situation going on. Could also be that they are planning to have more serious relationship, but Keith wants to wait until the twins have graduated and are out of the house.

Holy crap! Based on the fact that dad hadn't lost his ear/tail in the photo with Zebra girl says a lot. Specifically that Zebra girl was and IS his high school sweetheart, the REAL love of his life. Then BlackKitten ends the chapter, BOOM! Damn him. But one must speculate whose kids are Serah and Seb's? What if they're Zebra girls and Keith's kids. But Zebra girl had to tuck off to jail shortly before or after their birth? And the mom that Serah and Seb grew up with was merely a marriage of convenience so they could have a stay at home mom during their critical growing years? And now dad is working his Zebra gf into the household in prep for marrying her like he always planned to do in the first place.
