What's weird is that their forum account pegs their location as GMT+2 (somewhere in Europe) based on their local time. This includes but is not limited to Spain, but they MTL the Spanish "translations" so... that wouldn't make sense.

Some investigating on the site shows a dumping ground of fully automated bullshit. The editing is done automatically, "English" and "Spanish" "translations" are automatically plastered extremely poorly on the pages, etc. This account has uploaded "Spanish" galleries as well, and the Spanish comments are as confused and angry as the English side of things. No clues to the origin of these people, though.

The site has been edited since I checked the first time, which was yesterday. You used to be able to access the main domain but that now redirects to a 403. The site is only accessible via subdomain now. So they're actively monitoring/changing the website.

This is either some proving grounds for an extremely shitty automated system a la the new DLsite thing, or an attempt at a quick buck. What's weird is that if it's the latter, there is no obvious way they're monetizing this trash: there is no donation begging, no link to some Patreon, no BTC wallet. Nothing. There might be ads, but my adblock isn't showing me any. So it's an automated dumping ground???

Calling this shit translated is an affront to the tagging system. Horrible machine "translations" should be tagged and excluded somehow. Technically we have the "rough translation" tag but it requires comments and forum posts and shit to stick plus its intent seems to be toward people learning how to translate. Really fucking niche and pointless in 2022 and have been for at least 5 years. As evidence just look at the loads and loads of galleries where people in the comments already point out this shit but it still doesn't have the tag because noone wants to go the forum. People already discuss translations in discords with other translators rather than on a fucking forum. How about actually getting a proper tag thats USEFUL instead of getting awful shit like this to turn up with all the actual translations?!
