This uploading system gives out points for vieuws = when i started uploading some 10 years ago, i didn't know that and it didn't interest me = it still doesn't. But some people get jealous if you have a bit of succes and soon you get accused of "spamming" or "point farming".
If this site would not have the points system i would be uploading just aswell, because i like the system this site uses for viewing. Using a points system is, in my eyes, a concomitant. - I only use the credits for downloading galleries that i like; the rest of the credits and hath i gave away to someone that commissioned decensoring and translations and stuff, but he has stopped. (pm me)
Why uploading at all? Everybody needs a hobby to get through the day, and this is mine

There is no law that says Saltcutlet cannot also get images from Pixiv or the artist's Patreon galleries. For example, you could always outcompete someone if you purchased a HIGHER level of Patreon membership and then uploaded that. The people who don't buy Patreon will always have less complete galleries getting replaced (expunged).

So Please don't blame Saltcutlet. Saltcutlet is a reputable uploader following the rules. He has recognized the problem you pointed (as being part of the larger gallery point problem) in the forum thread at:

From what I can see, ROBBOO's the one creating the problem for himself. ROBBOO removes the artist's controversial images before posting the gallery whereas Saltcutlet does not. So it is fair for Saltcutlet to upload the complete set of the artist's latest releases. If ROBBOO doesn't want someone else uploading a fairly similar but MORE COMPLETE gallery, then he should stop removing the controversial images.

I need to know, why do people farm points? Is it something that can be turned into something monetary? Or is it just like a High Score type of deal? Get them big numbers, etc? Cause I appreciate seeing sets showing up as often as they do since I only come here about once a week. Means I get to see more stuff ya know? If things didn't bump, they'd get super buried for me and I'd miss some pretty great stuff.

It seems like some people devote A LOT of energy into making galleries, which I appreciate 'cause I'd never find a fraction of a percent of this stuff on my own, but I've always wondered WHY they do it, ya know?

If anything ROBBOO's galleries should be removed. Less complete, period. 75% of what he uploads are public gallery rip spam anyways which are worthless. And given all the times he's stolen people's galleries by adding unrelated pics to comics and other tricks like that, he deserves it.
