This is a supplement that was published within vol. 8, issue 11 of Animedia. This particular volume was published on November 1st, 1988, and features a plethora of information about Yasuhiko's works, illustration practice, as well as thoughts on his very own media. Given the era, it covers nearly 30 years worth of content in such a short period of time but smartly.

This book was very easy to scan as its the same density and the same printing as a standard comic book. The pages were VERY yellowed, however I found a great way to get rid of the aging spots, etc. Its a fairly recent book in regards to publishing, so no obvious wear aside from that.

Interesting aspects of this text:

-Page 1 has Yas pick out his top 6 watercolor/gouache illustrations for Animedia that he did, some of which were also promotional posters.

-Pages 5 - 30 discuss The Venus Wars in full. However, given the publishing date, the book covers The Venus Wars right before it would premier in theaters the following year. Yas' very own character bios, world building information, and lore are given for nearly every aspect of what viewers could have anticipated to see on film. Yas discusses the 1st part of the Venus Wars manga that was published from 1986 - 1987, whereas part 2 wouldn't be complete until late 1989-1990.

-Pages 31 - 40 are a rather lengthy interview with Yasuhiko about his then current project, The Venus Wars, as well as projects that he had completed prior; Kaze to Ki no Uta (1987), Arion (1986), Zeta Gundam (1985), Giant Gorg (1984), Crusher Joe (1983) and the 0079 Compilation films (1981 - 1982). Yas discusses the highs and lows of production as well as his thoughts on the industry. He goes on to discuss his favorite characters and scenes he personally animated and or wrote the script for.

-Pages 41 - 42 give a comprehensive list of every single TV show and film Yas had created up onto this point, alongside TV shows and films that he served as animator on. This document confirms the existence of Fire and Foal, so at the time that this booklet was published, it was still known so to speak among otaku. - Pages 43 - 49 give information about Yas' favorite characters he'd animated for, though it only goes back to 1979 respectively. He discusses his favorite characters based on who voice acted for them as well, which I found great.

-Page 50 has Yas discuss his favorite cel paintings that he produced for Animedia magazine, which were a ton, though his top 6 are included.

The final page is a quick stitch of a free promotional poster for The Venus Wars that was included in the front, which technically has pages 2 - 3 on the back of it.
