This is going to be a good one. Love how Lou is clueless but you can already see her slutty tendencies plus her being a thicc exhibitionist is great, why else wear an outfit like that lol. I can’t wait to see what kind of kinky adventures she gets up to, like scenarios that ends with her getting railed by male pokemon as an example.

As somebody who HAS finished up the endgame content for Legends...Yeah, fair. XD Seriously, Game Freak. Please never make what was once an optional objective a mandatory requirement for the story again.

Shame it kinda killed the inspiration for this (was really interested to see where particular characters fit in, namely the other two members of the Miss Fortunes and ESPECIALLY Cogita and her mysterious connection to Enamorus), but I can understand the reasoning. Haven't gone back to the game myself since.

Dunno. Maybe this could return with sporadic one-shots when the inspiration arises?

Yeah, I generally DO eventually complete the Pokédex, but the way the endgame was done really collapsed the whole thing to me (that and I more or less hate the inclusion of the genies in every single generation since they appeared, and what the hell are they even doing in Sinnoh/Hisui to begin with). Post Volo fight, it really goes downhill and I couldn't stay interested very long.

However, I REALLY enjoyed the gameplay and the pre-endgame as a whole, and I have a lot of notes I could've exploited; the Miss Forturnes, other groups (because the Galaxy Expedition Team isn't even that liked so the existence of other groups should exist), the Ancient people Cogita comes from, etc etc.

I'm still considering my options; either do another comic with a different, more adapted formed, a visual novel, or a series of one-shots.

I'm cautiously optimistic for Gen 9 being good, but I'm not done with Hisui yet. :)

I'd say as far as full-on story went, Legends' story is probably the best in the series. ...Until right after Volo (that theme kicking in actually made me drop a Joy-Con) It's a proper flowing narrative of the PC investigating the results and happenings of a mysterious space-time rift (and dealing with some SERIOUSLY violent Pokemon in the process. Alpha Kricketune will haunt my nightmares), while also trying to figure out why the PC got isekai'd here in the first gods damned place (LEARN TO LOOK BOTH WAYS, YA IDJITS! TRUCK-KUN IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!), unlike most main series games where its just: 1. Get badges 2. Team of the week shows up to cause shenanigans (minus Yell. I have a softspot for those goofballs). 3. Climactic fight on the peak of a mountain for the fate of reality (or whatever). 4. Fight (in most cases) not-really-surprise Champion to become Champion.

And yeah, like you said, there is so much lore and unanswered questions that are RIPE for exploration: The history of the Diamon and Pearl clans, Cogita's Ancient People. Hell, my most pressing question, is the proper relation between Cogita and Volo. Dunno. Maybe one day.

Yeah I really liked the story; it felt really grounded (the isekai part nonwithstanding, because I'm not sure the PC really needed to be from another world/timeline and it seemed like a practical solution to have a smartphone in pre-industrial Japan), and the emotional moments were really sweat; it's definitely the best in the series overall, and I kinda wished it was longer and exploited its lore even more...

The Volo part, I somewhat anticipated it post-game when he started pushing us to gather the plates, but it still was a nice twist at the end, though I wish it had a true conclusion, instead of him realizing that he wasn't "the one" and walking away, and with only a few people going "ah so he was the cause of all? shucks, what a rascal!" and not mentioning it ever again.

... I think I'm gonna try another playthrough, and see if it sparks back the old inspiration. :'D

Please do! I've done three playthroughs of Legends (only one with a full Pokedex, I'm not THAT crazy!), and I always seem to notice something I missed before. ...Feather Balls (and their upgrades) ended up being far more useful than I anticipated.
