Artist Commentary:
2-page Zootopia fan comic commission made for Estuary4 based on my own Zootopia fan comic The Longest Night, published here on DA in 2020. It was what we would call an "intersequel" between I Will Survive and Born To Be Alive, revealing what happened before Nick get back to Judy's place (THAT Seinfeld-esque apartment) on that awkward night.

Estuary4 wasn't comfortable with the short time gap between Nick leaving Tundratown and arriving at Judy's apartment so they imagined a possible answer to this alleged plot hole: Nick drove his car all the way to Savannah Central, even though he was drunk as a skunk (!) . This is how this fan comic was born.

Actually, the answer is much simpler: Nick simply called an U-BEAR.

Oh, yes, I almost forgot: I Will Survive and Born To Be Alive are, respectively, the first and second part of a trilogy named TRILOGY OF LIFE. The last installment, titled Never Say Goodbye, should be published in the last half of 2019 or in the early months of 2020.

Well, to be fair, the only way Nick's behavior makes sense, that of being a S.I.M.P. is if he was raised by a single-mother. It is the only way this part of the story works as a feministic-oriented POS. The real canonical character of Nick would have moved on and never returned. Btw, lesbianism is the last relationship refuge of broken women. I'm sorry. Did I say broken? I meant "failed." Lesbianism is the last relationship refuge of women that have failed in keeping a man.
