As an example in the beach episode, Tadano stops Najimi from changing in the same changing room as the girls. Because he thinks Najimi is a boy. But he only base this on Najimi having worn a boys uniform in middleschool. But if the school uniform decides what sex you are, then he why doesn't he think of Najimi as a girl now. The reason is, because he has already made up his mind. Najimi is a very strange and annoying person. She has basically been Tadano's first friend and his annoying "bro". To suddenly think of her as a girl would be impossible for Tadano and he still thinks she is a man.
