Well, beside the fact that some may say that, although his drawing skills are indisputably improved from purely technical standpoint, his art somehow got only worse and worse with time.
And that thouse "some" may actually be right.
Still, he walked quite a walk from the days of 'S.Cullen' in that department, for better or worse.

The pack itself, as tradition goes, is not so much an artpack as more like a pack of art.

Basically, every drawing of that Champagne fox girl he did between the month of June, year of 2015, and the month of December, year of 2017, for his Patreon, bundled together in a fragging 5Gb worth of uncompressed space pile of furry smut.

God I haven't heard of Bernal in ages. I think the term you're looking for is "over rendered": There's a lot detail in his new stuff, but the fundamentals, anatomy, proportion, lighting etc are all much, much worse than they used to be. I think the same thing about it all now that I used to almost a decade ago: what a stupid way to conduct yourself as an artist. Yeah, shut down everyone who dares give you free publicity. Erase yourself from public awareness. That'll go well. And all this time later, that's exactly how it played out: I doubt anyone but weird oldfags like me and the poster have any idea who Bernal even is now.

It's interesting to see the evolution of the fandom laid out here though. There were so many artists at that time freaking out about "art thieves" reposting their stuff without permission. Now that seems to have largely died down, the raw ego and narcissism instead harnessed in finding new people to cancel on twitter, or inventing new, ever-increasingly deranged forms of progressivism so you can insist all your artist friends adopt them or be branded an evil racist sexist nazi. The more things change.
