So I'd been thinking back on an older upload I had done that I won't be linking because I think it's rubbish.

Basically, some time back in 2010, I thought it'd be just a swell and fantastic idea to upload these very files here (in 2010) after I slapped them through GIMP and like white balanced the fuck out of the files to hell and back to "clean" up those files.

This causes a major issue, though, in that people mistakenly think my slapped together work is somehow superior and higher quality than Fred Perry's original scans. And worse, I have two other people on this site copying my shitty work, and one of them clearly put the shit through an upscaler of some kind or something and is acting like they have a "higher quality" upload.

Well, I've had it with that and can not let this continue on in good conscience. So I present to you all the files I had on hand that I had used for my botched "retouch".

And if the "date modified" for these files are to be believed (most of the files come from around 2005), these may well be the original Fred Perry uploads, an added bonus in my eyes.

I am uploading this as is cause the folder I also have these in was organized this way too, so that's why the Stallion and Silk comic is there at the end. It's how it was in the folder I have it from.

Here's a tl;dr of all this

1. In 2010, I made a gallery using these exact images but put them through a white balancer and shit and tried to pass the images off as being "retouched". Since then, I have regretted doing such a thing just cause I know the nature of the internet and have already seen my mistake passed off in TWO galleries on this site.

2. I'm like CERTAIN what I have my hands on here are like the original files uploaded by Fred Perry, or at the very least they come close to that. That in itself makes these worth more than any other upload (the original pieces of paper Perry sketched these on probably being priceless if they existed)

3. I got nothing else, I just wanted to hopefully correct a mistake of my own and provide both to this site and the world proper versions of the original comic. There's one other version on the site from the user "BahamutXone", but a major difference between this and theirs is that their's somehow is of lower resolution.

In all seriousness, though - "date modified" is not preserved is this way, so if you would be so kind to grant us a torrent with zipped originals, that would be most crisp of you.

On a side note: EH doesn't give two bytes as to the difference between orcs, ogres, and trolls, so any attempt to tag "troll" would result in tag "orc" appearing in the namespace.

What I will also say is this: if what I have is what I am certain it is, I'm just glad to at the very least corrected my own mistake from ages ago and have at least done my part in preserving digital data.

EDIT 2: So quick thing before I head off for the night,

I realized that Fred Perry had like a bunch of his old works on their FA, and they clearly were uploaded ages ago as is. But I also realized their FA account certainly doesn't have all their porn works from well into the 90s (This particular set of comics here also wasn't on his FA as far as I could tell). So I actually have to wonder: where was FP posting this stuff at? They couldn't have just been throwing this stuff out onto like CG Shrine or something, could they?

There was a personal site of his own where he posted this, the wererat comic Doity Rats, and more originally. It wasn't exactly well known or perused by everyone, but enough to spread from there to sites like this. It was mostly sketchbook material. I can't remember the name after all this time, as it was about two PCs and a decade ago for me. I kept my files, but little else of their source.

Okay, thanks for that clarification! That's actually kinda fascinating then that some of his old work was just being posted on some part of one of his sites unadvertisted.

But that's also par for the course, I suppose, especially in the mid 2000s/late 90s.

But there's also this likely chance some dude could have come across those sketches and no one ever shared them. I shudder to think that thought, though.

I remember coming across the first part of Elves vs Trolls (With GaoGao and Pvithe) on Aries Dies and completely falling in love with this comic. It's probably been maybe 12 or 14 years now or more on my end since I first found it, and it's still one of my favorite pornographic works.

If Perry still had the physical sketches in relatively good condition, I'd love to see these things re-scanned in with a better scanner and more resolution.
