Redraw. I know connecting bubble lines isn't the most glamorous thing in the world, but it's very obvious and jarring when you see white blotches everywhere whenever you remove JP text without redrawing (this is mostly apparent with moans/SFX because they straddle bubbles with a white stroke.)

I mostly agree and expect redraw if some jp text/sfx outside speech bubble is removed for the purpose of translating it, but in this case seems like all the white blotches / bubbles were already present in the raws, and not something added as a (lazy) artifact of text removal during the translation process.

Do you perhaps meant excessive speech bubbles (e.g. the EN text ends up being way shorter than the JP text for whatever reason) should be removed and something new should be drawn to fill the void that was not even present in the original work?
If so, I guess it could look better, but it feels excessive and is beyond a "re"draw…

Ah! I see what you mean now. It's the disjointed strokes on the speech bubbles in e.g. P24 thanks for replying!

No, I checked. Take a look at moan bubbles. JP has overlapped stroked text. The text is removed, but the overlapped parts aren't redrawn in EN.
