Kieyzo, it's probably for monetization reasons (like offering uncensored versions on their patreon for a price). I've seen this strategy before; not a popular one, and not one that I personally agree with either.
The uncensored versions are eventually gonna make their way onto the internet one way or another, and fighting that in an annoying and time consuming/continuous battle. You're really better off focusing on making things early access, giving voting power on certain content, and priority/discounts on commissioned works.

Asmo Deus, yes, you are right, sooner or later, the uncensored content ends up posted freely, and in a way, that can hurt the one making the renders, some of us(like me), need this support.
But I don't like censored versions either, the reason why I post them is websites policies:
Patreon changed their policy, before you could post nude versions on free content, now only for patreons, because you can't have nudity avaiable for everyone;
Devianart never let that happen, as long there was an implied sex scene or something like that;
as for Pixiv, I must admit I'm new, I've saw some forms of cersorship that are really small and don't really cover anything, and are ok, but I don't wanna risk it;

So, I don't use any other place to post things, but I can post the uncensored versions here.
