These are pretty good but this artist is the goat for drawing these whether they do like the show/characters or not. Also hoping someone does some shameful fan art cuz shit show not good at all lol. Terrible fan art idea came to mind is that main character's mom is a futa and she fucks that one magical trans character but as a woman

It is a curious tale.

Original was intended to have a cast of late teens / young adults, with art style more to the side of ATLA / Korra.
No clue on the writing side, but it started as GRRRL PWR at minimum - kinda whatever, unless they intended to proselytize and preach instead of telling the story. Author's stated intend was not to do so, but given the background... ehh, I'll may be inclined to give a benefit of doubt, but not so inclined to actually do so.

After the initial pitch, the "team" began to "work" on it.
Style was immediately shifted to CalArt.
"Writing" changed to yer standard intersectionalist sermon.
Trailer literally was nothing but virtue signalling, with not a hint of what show is about beside "your are a special snowflake, Harriette!".
On top of that, CrunchyRoll funneled money they were supposedly setting aside for Japanese artists into this. A lot of money. Basically it was a money-washing scheme for them. And the rest of funds was wasted on nurturing the nest of vile parasites.
Then, the lazyness. Which is a part for the course, given the crowd involved. At least someone on the "team" had enough decency to remove Shutterstock logo from the clipart they used instead of drawing - or maybe they just stole first images without watermarks coming in the Google-search, which is more likely.

The show itself is schizophrenic in every. Single. Aspect.
Which is impressive, in a way.
I mean, you need to go waaaay beyond your stature and any reasonable amount of effort to make something that incoherent.
Even STP/STD may be not that bad in terms of writing, loath as I may even the thought of such possibility.

The split of nice animation and clipart bullshite explained by standard practice of shipping the storyboards over the pond, to South Korean studios primarily, Professionals there did their job - but the storyboards in question were at best incomplete inconsistent pos, and usually just absent. You can polish a turd using dorodango - but all you will get in the end is a polished turd. Or a Polish turd like Andrzej Sapkowski, which is far worse - but I digress.
In general, if you see something that is "not that bad" in the HGS, it was either outsourced work, or a creative solution not "influenced" but blatantly stolen from other, much, much better shows.

On the writing side, the schizophrenia of wordsalads and nonsensical storylines is eerily reminiscent of Steven Universe - but even the last seasons of SU seem to be a Nobel-worthy high-brow literature in comparison to HGS.
What the shows have in common, is the state of things there writers had absolutely no bloody idea what are they writing about, but in HGS case they also had no idea how real people talk, think, or interact.
Suffice to say, they managed to convince people that only men are capable of thought, or actually getting things done, and ultra-conservatism on the level of unironical "Kinder, Küche, Kirche" approach is the only viable way of life - all while being, as Drax rightly remarked, "manhating angry lesbians". That's some next level of psy-ops shite, for the sake of Dark Gods...

Oh, and then there were also voice acting.
Apologies - "voice" "acting".
Let's put it this way - the unquestionably best VA on the show mumbled through his lines to a point of complete illegibility, and recorded said lines using a coat-hanger and an empty tin-can inside a submarine on the bottom of Mariana Trench, then sent it out using carrier pidgeons. Now - that's a dedication to the Craft, if I ever saw one.

In sum total, the show is such a dumpsterfire, that any - and I mean any - attempt to create a YTP or abridged series of it would be without any shadow of doubt better than the original.
Like, not just head and shoulders better, but at least four heads and shoulders above the HGS original.
