For those who don't know:

The guy in the background of page 5 is Gary Plauché, the father of Molested Victim Jody Plauché. In the mid 80's, Jody was molested by his family-trusted karate instructor. Despite being caught and going to court for a sure conviction; Gary felt like a failure as a father failing to prevent his son from getting molested. So, Gary decided to take matters into his own hands unbeknownst to anyone (in fact his wife later in an interview post-incident said to him, "The least you could have done was let me give you a ride to the airport.").

When the ChoMo was being transferred and escorted at an airport; Gary was waiting disguised with a handgun by a bunch of airport payphones. As soon as they past Gary, he pulled out a gun and blew the ChoMo's brains out. Cool thing is: this was all captured on Live TV by the local news agency reporting on the transfer. Gary got tackled and arrested; went to court; and the jury refused to have him convicted but the judge didn't want him to get away with it completely scott-free so he gave him at least a bunch of community service hours to be done as well as a few years probation.

Gary went on to live for like 2 more decades as a speaker against sexual-abuse and for-victims. Whenever he was asked about what he did, he always stated he never regretted it and would do it again.
